School of Visual & Performing Arts

The Performing Arts program at McKinley is unparalleled. Class offerings include drama, musical theatre, choir, show choir, ballet, dance, strings, band, and piano. We also offer multiple sections of talented drama and talented music. All performing arts classes pack the house multiple times a year in McKinley’s state-of-the-art Lynn Whitfield Theatre for Performing Arts, Our Black Box Theatre, and our outdoor amphitheatre. In addition to on-campus performances and student made films, our mustang actors, dancers, and musicians perform at community events and venues as well as national festivals. McKinley performances are not to be missed!
