Jaydon Price and Dawson Ponjuan under the direction of our Talented Theatre teacher, Shane Stewart, will be competing June 25-30 at the International Thespian Festivival in Lincoln, Nebraska. Every year students from across the country and even outside the United States come together to compete in various categories of theatre. Last year, two McKinley Middle students won in the category of Duet Acting. Gwen Roland and Parker Guarisco took home the top honors at the majority high school competition. Very few middle schools compete at this competition as it is centered around high school theatre programs. Jaydon and Dawson won top honors at the state level in January. We are very proud of our Mustangs and our MMAM Theatre program on their continued success.
