Picasso said, “Every child is an artist.” McKinley strives to cultivate student creativity and imagination through visual arts classes. McKinley proudly displays art throughout the campus as well as in multiple locations in the city of Baton Rouge. Year after year, visual art at McKinley is recognized locally and nationally through individual student awards as well as program awards.  Art classes such as beginning art, drawing and painting, sculpture as well as multiple sections of talented art are sure to meet the needs of the artist in every student!
