Mr. Shane Stewart, our talented Theatre teacher and his 6th and 7th grade classes have been awarded high honors at the 2022 Film Prize Jr. film festival. His 7th grade class was awarded best Sci-Fi/Thriller for their film "Found You", and his 6th grade class took home the top honors in the state, receiving the FILM OF THE YEAR status for their short film "The Love Note". Film Prize Jr. is the Souths largest educational film festival, and included 79 films this year from 49 seperate schools located across the state of Louisiana. For winning this prize, Mr. Stewart and his students recieved a $2500 dollar grant to be used for future films and film equipment. Congratulations!!
